Break Point

The Architecture InsideOut project, was a many-facetted exploration of the built environment, held periodically at various locations in the south.   InQbate, a one-day intervention, was one of these collaborations between artists and architects

Six groups of participants spent the day responding to a site specific brief in the Tate Modern’s Turbine hall.   The work shown here is Break Point, and was a three-part participatory installation between artists David Dixon, Jon Adams, and AOC architects Geoff Shearcroft and Vincent Lacovara.

Break Point ran the length of the Tate’s Turbine hall, overlapping other interventions, and eventually being completed by a final cross-over with another participatory event.
